*sigh*
Well folks, we all lose a special loved one in our life at least once.
And well.
I just lost my 3rd loved one.
Me beloved, faithful friend Richard. He was great. A true friend.
First let me tell you a little bit about my beloved Richard before I describe how he was killed.
Richard was given to me on my birthday. I must say, he was the best birthday present ever!
A Compaq PC with exceptional graphics drivers. And a wacom Intous4 Tablet, what more could I ask for?
Richard faithfully ran every project, homework assignment, game, drawing, and anything else I wanted him to do.
He never crashed once.
Until yesterday.
Who killed him, you may ask? Or what?
DeviantArt did.
Yes, my freinds, Richard contracted the DA Trojan Backdoor virus. He got it so bad, in fact, I had to restart him 5 times just to get him to work.
After I successfully booted him up in Safe Mode (which lets you have internet, but no sound or special apps, just classic Windows) i ran my Norton Internet security.
It found nothing but a few tracking cookies.
So I downloaded superantispyware. It also found nothing.
So I downloaded Kapersky TDSS Killer.
Nothing.
Malwarebytes? Nothing.
PC CLeanup? Nota.
So I tried a System reset. It couldnt complete it because NOrton was blocking it, and I couldnt disable Norton because I was in Safe Mode, nd outside of SafeMode Richie would crash and freeze.
And on his death bed, my poor, faithful freind alerted me of a virus, but it said it was unable to remove it. And then...
The blue screen of death.
Then he was gone.
Fried.
So. I booted him back up in safe mode, and here I am. I may be able to get a few peices of art done, but poor Richard might just give out...
