Cookie cutter faces.
I don't care if you draw people, horses, dogs, penguins
Cookie cutter faces will SERIOUSLY limit your art ability if you don't find a way to get out of it!
I had CCF syndrome for 500 years
nah just 13 years (been drawing since i was old enough to hold a pencil, ie 2 years old. Got out of CCF syndrome two years ago.)
You know the drill.
Awesome, beautiful art and characters
And every one of them has the same face. the only difference is mares/girls/women have long eyelashes.
This doesn't just happen to young artists wither; I've seen very experienced ones have this problem.

HOW TO GET OUT OF IT

Whatever you're drawing, if it has a face, it has to be unique. Period. You never see two people, dogs, or pengiuins with the exact same face.
For example, look at these two Appaloosas; My Orion and Crazy-Sparkles-Stock's Arian:
Here they are in roughly the same pose, a 3/4 view. These are of the same breed, type and nearly the same age. But notice how thin Arian's head is compared to Orion's, and how orion's muzzle is bigger and so are the ears.
One more comparison of the head:
Arian Conformation Right Side by Crazy-Sparkles-Stock i hate you by Fargonon

If you study any type of face long enough (STUDY being the key word, art skill doesn't come by magic) you will notice every one is different.
Experiment!

I know, I can be so bad about that :P I do see the differences though, Orion has a cute chunky muzzle while Arian has a dainty arab muzzle. :D
